As part of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences’ internationalisation strategy, an online meeting was held with Universitas Mercu Buana (UMB), located in Indonesia, through the initiative of Research Assistant Muhammed Yusuf KÜÇÜKKARA. The meeting was attended by representatives from the international relations offices and relevant academic staff from both institutions.

During the meeting, participants exchanged information about the general structures of both institutions, academic programmes, internationalisation strategies, and potential areas of cooperation. Research Assistant Muhammed Yusuf KÜÇÜKKARA delivered a presentation on SUBÜ’s capacities and institutional profile, while our office staff member Onur Kubilay PAK provided an overview of the existing opportunities in the field of internationalisation.

In particular, student and staff mobility opportunities under the Erasmus+ KA171 programme were discussed in detail, and necessary steps were taken toward the establishment of an inter-institutional agreement following the meeting.
