An online meeting was held between Sakarya University of Applied Sciences and West Anhui University, located in Lu'An, Anhui Province, China, to explore potential cooperation opportunities within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA171 Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility Programme.

The meeting was attended by SUBÜ International Relations Office staff member Lect. Alper KARATAŞ and Dr. Muhammad ARIF from the Faculty of Agriculture. Representing West Anhui University were Dr. Cheng SONG and Dr. Li NAIGANG.

During the meeting, the parties discussed possible cooperation in areas such as student and academic staff exchanges, joint academic initiatives, and especially educational collaboration in the field of agriculture. Potential projects to be carried out under the Erasmus+ KA171 programme were also explored.

This meeting marks an important step for SUBÜ as part of its internationalization vision, particularly as it represents the university's first attempt to establish cooperation with a higher education institution in China within the KA171 programme. It is also seen as a significant move towards expanding SUBÜ’s collaboration network in Asia.
